Economic connecting guarantor of stability in region

Minister of Economy Zeljko Sertic said today, pointing out to the significance of cooperation between the countries in the region, that business people in this part of Europe depend on each other in order to build business relationships that encourage economic integration.

Participating at the 7th international investment conference in Sarajevo, Sertic said that connecting these countries in the field of economy is important for Serbia and for all of its neighbours, but also that it is a guarantee of regional peace and stability.
The Minister said that the region should not be the only geographic area, but above all an environment that pushes the boundaries, looking to the future.
He said that we are on the right track through synergies in projects of infrastructure, energy, tourism, development of industrial parks and modern technology to make this space becomes an economic gateway of Europe.
According to Sertic, this year's conference in Sarajevo is dedicated to cooperation with China, thanks to which the connection is made possible through the mechanism China-CEEC, which was recognised as the new engine of regional cooperation, but also as part of a global process.
