The aim of this gathering was to present countries on their path towards the EU to German business people. Dinkic underlined that other investors, especially those from the US are not afraid of political risks and are the leaders in investing in the Serbian economy.
He pointed out to the participants the advantages of investments in Serbia, above all low interest rates, a skilled workforce, and the likelihood of Belgrade beginning negotiations on the Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the EU, which is the first step towards full-fledged EU membership.
Several participants commended the current business situation in Serbia, but at the same time underlined the importance of political stability, above all the fight against corruption, the strengthening of the legal state and resolving of the problem of Kosovo-Metohija, the Minister of Finance told the Beta news agency.
