As a dependable investment partner, Serbia has the potential to draw attention to the region, he told a panel on privatisation chaired by EBRD Director for the Western Balkans Holger Muent at a Western Balkans investment summit hosted by the bank.
In the field of macrofiscal and macromonetary measures, Serbia has achieved outstanding results and it continues to improve it, he said.
We have improved the business environment and achieved much in the field of encouraging investments – I expect and urge investors to come to Serbia and see for themselves that we are a serious partner that is taking big steps forward, he said.
Vujovic said that the government of Serbia is working intensively on defining the most efficient infrastructure, reducing administration, rapid and high quality legal services and interconnection.
He said that Serbia is advancing in all aspects of the reform progresses, and that the ministries of finance and economy as well as the Privatisation Agency are functioning as a team linking and inviting new investors.
The panel discussed the current economic problems in the countries of the region, as well as ways to find the most efficient solutions.
