The agreement was signed by Minister of Economy Zeljko Sertic and Director General of Delphi for Europe, Middle East and Africa Vincent Fagard.
Vucic said that in this operation, and the British company in Novi Sad, will employ ten percent of the total number of their employees in Europe, and it is three thousand people, and pointed out that this is the first such major investment in the city after 35 years.
Prime Minister Vucic said that Delphi Automotive will hire 3,000 people in Novi Sad as part of what will be the first investment of that size in the city in 35 years, which will be 10% of their total workforce in Europe.

Vucic said that this is a big day for Serbia, Novi Sad and Vojvodina, and told the foreign investors that they chose the best land and the wonderful city for their investment.
He said that an additional €18 million will be invested in similar plants in other cities.
Vucic expressed his gratitude to the representative of the British company, workers and citizens for their help to keep such a large investment, but also to the Serbian government, that has invested considerable resources.
The plant should start production by the end of next year, when it will employ 1,000 workers.
