Belgrade, 19 Feb 2016 –The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) stated that a plenary meeting of Serbian officials and the representatives of an IMF mission was attended by NBS Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic, who is representing Serbia in the IMF, Finance Minister Dusan Vujovic and his associates.

The IMF mission, headed by James Roaf, is in Belgrade from February 18 through 26 for preliminary discussions on the fourth review of a precautionary stand-by arrangement approved for Serbia on 23 February 2015.
During the visit, macroeconomic trends in the country, implementation of obligations under the 2015 end-year programme, and implementation of the economic policy in the coming period will be assessed.
Particular attention will be devoted to structural reforms aimed at reducing fiscal risks and encouraging economic competitiveness and growth, a NBS statement said.
