Business cooperation of Serbian air industry with Airbus

The Serbian Chamber of Commerce today hosted a conference "Airbus Group - Suppliers' Day" at which representatives of this leading airline met with representatives of about 40 Serbian companies in the airline industry and the Army of Serbia, with the aim of finding in Serbia suppliers of parts for their products.

On behalf of the government of the Republic of Serbia, ministers of defence and economy - Bratislav Gasic and Zeljko Sertic spoke at this conference.
Gasic underlined that today's meeting is turned towards future, scientific and technological advancements, industry development and strengthening of business relations with international partners.
He noted that the multitude of comparative advantages will help Airbus Group to recognise in Serbian companies good and successful contributors for the expansion of its network of suppliers.

Sertic stressed that today's conference is a confirmation that the policy of the Serbian government brings concrete results, pointing out that a few months ago it was unthinkable that a company like Airbus Group would seek partners in Serbian companies.
According to Sertic, cooperation with this European and world giant opens up great opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises in Serbia.
