During the visit of the IMF mission, headed by Zuzana Murgasova, quarterly results in the implementation of the stand-by arrangement, approved to Serbia on 23 February this year, will be reviewed.
The arrangement was concluded as precautionary, which means that Serbia does not intend to use the approved funds, but it has the ability to use them in case it needs them.
The current macroeconomic trends in the country will be discussed in the upcoming talks, the prospects for economic growth, as well as the implementation of the agreed measures of monetary policy, fiscal policy in the context of fiscal consolidation and measures for structural reforms.
The realisation of obligations for the first quarter, envisaged by the harmonised economic programme, will be reviewed with the IMF Mission, reads a statement by the National Bank of Serbia.
