Vucic told reporters after the signing of the document that Toennies is the largest meat producer in Europe, which is a great thing for Serbia, since Toennies plans to produce three million fattening pigs in Serbia.
The Prime Minister said that he is particularly proud and happy that it happened on the anniversary of the functioning of the government of Serbia, after months of difficult and hard work.
He added that locations for five farms have been agreed on already, while five other locations are being negotiated with representatives of the company.
Vucic said that this investment will lead to a large increase in exports of agricultural products and raising the overall quality of meat, but also a significant reduction in unemployment.
