Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection Snezana Bogosavljevic-Boskovic participated in the International Forum of agriculture and climate change, which was held yesterday in Paris, organised by the French Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection states that the forum was attended by ministers of agriculture of many European countries and the world.
Speakers included agriculture ministers of France, the Netherlands, Morocco, Egypt, Algeria, South Africa, UN officials and president of the Union of French farmers.
The forum was an opportunity to discuss the impact of climate change on agriculture and suggestions for reducing greenhouse gas emissions to the development of competitive agricultural production.
The final address on the forum was of President of the French Republic François Hollande.
The aforementioned forum is held on the eve of today's opening ceremony of the International Agricultural Fair in Paris, the statement added.
