The Serbian Statistical Office stated today that the industrial production in the Republic of Serbia in November 2014, when compared to November 2013, decreased by 8.7% and in relation to the 2013 average, it decreased by 2.0%.
Industrial production in the period January – November 2014, compared with the same period 2013, decreased by 6.5%.
Observed by sections, in November 2014 compared to the same month 2013, the following sections recorded a fall: the section of mining and quarrying (24.1%), the section of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (23.7%) and the section of manufacturing (2.7%).
The data on industrial production by destination in November 2014, compared to November 2013, expressed fall in the production of the following goods: energy (22.0%), intermediate products, energy excluded (10.5%), and non - durable consumer goods (0.3%).
Growth was recorded in the production of capital goods (8.9%), and of durable consumer goods (17.0%).
