Expressed in Euros, the overall external trade stood at €24,293.3 million, which was an increase of 0.6% compared to the same period of 2013.
The value of exports amounted to $13,650.3 million, which was 2.0% increase when compared to the same period last year, while the value of imports amounted to $18,885.0 million, which was 1.5% increase relative to the same period last year.
Expressed in Euros, the value of exports amounted to €10,193.0 million, which was the increase of 0.9%, compared to the same period last year. The value of imports amounted to €14,100.3 million, which was 0.4% increase when compared to the same period last year.
The deficit amounted to $5,234.7 million, which was an increase of 0.4% in relation to the same period last year. The deficit expressed in Euros amounted to €3,907.3 million, which was a decrease of 0.9% compared to the same period last year.
The export - import ratio equalled 72.3% and was higher if compared to the same period last year when it was 72.0%.
