External trade rises

The Serbian Statistical Office stated today that the overall external trade in the Republic of Serbia for January – October 2014 amounted to $29,796.8 million,which was a 3.6% increase compared to the same period 2013.
Expressed in euros, the trade stood at €22,103.2 million in the same period, which was an increase of 1.6% compared to the same period 2013.
The value of exports amounted to $12503.6 million, which was a 4% increase when compared to the same period last year, while the value of imports amounted to €17,293.2 million, which was a 3.3% increase relative to the same period last year.
Expressed in euros, the value of exports amounted to €9,275 million, which was an increase of 2%, compared to the same period last year.
The value of imports amounted to €12,828.2 million, which was a 1.3% increase when compared to the same period last year.
