Chinese companies invest in Obrenovac, Stara Pazova

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic attended the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on investment of Chinese companies Meita Group and Streit Group in Obrenovac and in Stara Pazova respectively.
The memorandum was signed by Minister of Economy Zeljko Sertic, Meita Group CEO Ben Che, Streit Group Executive Director Remy Barthelme.
Sertic said that the total investment will be worth €48 million, i.e., the Obrenovac investment more than €30 million and the one in Stara Pazova around €18 million and they are expected to create more than 1,400 jobs.
Mayor of Obrenovac Miroslav Cuckovic announced that the start of construction of the plant is planned for 1 April next year.
