External trade records increase

The Serbian Statistical Office stated today that the overall external trade in the Republic of Serbia for January – September 2014 amounted to $26,769.6 million, which was a 5.4% increase compared to the same period 2013.
Expressed in euros, the overall external trade amounted to €19,721.6 million, which was a 2.3% increase compared to the same period 2013.
The value of exports amounted to $11,253.7 million, which was 6.2% increase when compared to the same period last year, while the value of imports amounted to $15,515.9 million, which was 4.8% increase relative to the same period last year.
Expressed in euros, the value of exports amounted to €8,291.7 million, which was the increase of 3.1%, compared to the same period last year.
The value of imports amounted to €11,429.9 million, which was 1.7% increase when compared to the same period last year.
