At a ceremonial meeting on the occasion of the establishment of a Swiss-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, which was also attended by President of the Swiss Confederation Didier Burkhalter, Vucic told Serbian businessmen that they have much to learn from their Swiss colleagues.
Noting certain steps forward were made in the last two years, especially given that the import/export ratio rose from 31.9% to 49.1%, Vucic said that the most important thing is to learn from Swiss friends how to be a responsible, serious and reliable partner.
He said that laws will be changed and everything that hindered private business, noting that Swiss companies will come only to a country safe for investments.
Wishing businessmen every success, he warned that Swiss companies come to Serbia only when they know they could make profit.
Burkhalter said that the establishment of the Swiss-Serbian Chamber of Commerce in Belgrade is a sign of trust in Serbia's future and a contribution to stronger ties between the two countries and nations.
Today is a special moment in Swiss-Serbian relations because this paves the way towards building better relations between our nations, Burkhalter said at a ceremony marking the opening of the Chamber.
The establishment of the Swiss-Serbian Chamber of Commerce in Belgrade sends a strong message about the friendship between the two countries, Burkhalter said.
A good future lies ahead for Serbia in terms of economic freedoms, Burkhalter said, adding that Switzerland fully supports Serbia's European pathway.
