Talks with IMF to continue after formation of new government

The Ministry of Finance stated that a mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was on a visit to Belgrade from 26 February to 13 March in order to launch negotiations with Serbia’s representatives about a new precautionary agreement.
The Serbian team was led by Minister of Finance Lazar Krstic and Governor of the National Bank of Serbia Jorgovanka Tabakovic, while the IMF delegation was led by Zuzana Murgasova.
The talks were held in a constructive atmosphere and will be continued after the elections and the formation of a new government of Serbia, reads a statement by the Ministry of Finance.
