Minister of Youth and Sport Vanja Udovicic was nominated today the best water polo player in 2013 by the International Swimming Federation (FINA).

Apart from Udovicic, the candidates for the best water polo player this year are Aleksandar Ivovic (Montenegro), Sandro Sukno (Croatia) and Denes Varga and Viktor Nadj (Hungary).
Early this September Udovicic took over the position of the minister and withdrew from water polo.
He was proclaimed the best water polo player in 2010.
