Miscevic, who is leading the Serbian negotiating team, stressed in a statement to the news agency Tanjug that the Serbian delegation is satisfied with the beginning of the negotiations, and that the European Commission considers that the negotiations have started off very well.
She expressed her conviction that there will be no major problems in reaching agreement between the Serbian delegation and the European Commission, and added that the agreement on readmission is the condition for signing the agreement on visa relaxations.
The European Commission gave the Serbian delegation the draft agreement on readmission for examination which should be signed simultaneously with the agreement on visa relaxations, Miscevic said, adding that the Serbian side will present its version of the draft agreement during the upcoming two weeks.
