Udovicic said that in 2015 Serbia will chair the OSCE which is a great honour and a good chance for affirmation of our country.
This is a great opportunity for our country, but also a responsibility to play a positive historical role in the sensitive situations in the world and together with other nations write the European history of peace and cooperation among all peoples and states, Udovicic stated.
At the opening of the three-day conference, young ambassadors were also welcomed by head of the working group of the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Serbia’s chairmanship of the OSCE Ambassador Dejan Sahovic, Swiss Ambassador to Serbia Jean-Daniel Ruch and Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia Peter Burkhard.
The conference takes place as part of the implementation of the Joint working plan of Switzerland and Serbia for the presidency of the OSCE, and its aim is to harmonise the final proposal of the Action Plan for the Youth through simulation of work of OSCE bodies.
