US Secretary of State invited to visit Serbia

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic is in Washington, where yesterday he attended the 65th National Prayer Breakfast.

During the National Prayer Breakfast, Dacic spoke with new Secretary of State of the United States Rex Tillerson and invited him to visit our country.
The First Deputy Prime Minister will meet today with officials of the Congress the US administration, according to a statement the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Dacic tonight also met with Senator Roger Wicker, with whom he discussed the situation in the region, protection of Serbian national, historic and religious heritage in Kosovo-Metohija.
They also discussed the modalities for the promotion of bilateral, primarily economic, cooperation.
They also discussed stronger engagement of the new US administration in advancing peace and stability in the Western Balkans.
