Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, right, and his Slovenian counterpart Miro Cerar
Vucic said in his address to the participants of this meeting in the Serbian Chamber of Commerce that the two countries have no political obstacles, and that they have good, sincere and friendly relations.
He also invited Slovenian investors to invest in Serbian spas.
The Prime Minister said that there is potential in agriculture and expressed confidence that the possibility of a long-term lease of land will contribute to the development of agro-industry.
According to Vucic, there is a chance for a joint appearance in third markets, especially when it comes to the defence industry, as well as other economic sectors, such as the joint programme for tourists from other countries.
He pointed out that Serbia will have a minimal deficit at the end of the year and will be 1.7 or 1.8%, with a growth rate of 2.7 to 2.8%.
Vucic expressed satisfaction due to the presence of a large number of ministers at the meeting in the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, stating that this is yet another proof of mutual interest for cooperation.
Slovenia is among our top ten largest trading partners and investors and Slovenian companies in Serbia employ more than 25,000 people, he said.
I wish them to stay in Serbia and make a serious profit, Vucic said and expressed satisfaction over the fact that there are some Serbian investments in Slovenia as well.
