First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received today UN Assistant Secretary-General, UNDP Assistant Administrator and Director of the Regional Bureau for Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States Ayse Cihan Sultanoglu.

During the meeting, Dacic highlighted the importance of the assistance provided by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to our country after the floods in 2014.
Sultanoglu expressed gratitude to the Serbian government for enabling that as of this year UN agencies in Serbia work under the same roof within the framework of the UN.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the very successful long-term cooperation between the UNDP and Serbia, which is especially reflected through the help and support that UNDP provides to the realisation of the global objectives of sustainable development and the new Framework of development partnership between the UN and Serbia for the period from 2016 to 2020.
