Reconstruction of Clinical Centre Zvezdara starts

Serbian Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic has visited the Clinical Centre Zvezdara and noted that reconstruction works in the Clinical Centre Zvezdara will be mostly completed by early 2006 thanks to the loan provided by the European Investment Bank (EIB).

Milosavljevic said at a press conference that of the total €3.3 million loan, €2.4 million will be invested in infrastructure and around €800,000 will be invested in procuring new equipment.
The minister said that the Health Ministry’s project for urgent reconstruction of health centres in Serbia is financed with a soft loan amounting to €50 million. The project will also include reconstruction of 20 hospitals across Serbia and the Torlak Immunology and Virology Institute, Milosavljevic said.
