The Ministry's recommendation, which is in line with the labour law and the occupational safety law, refers mostly to companies that conduct works in the outside, especially on construction sites, roads etc.
During today's visit to a construction site in Dimitrija Tucovica street in Belgrade, where AMG Novembar company conducts works, Minister of Labour and Social Policy Rasim Ljajic said that fines for those who do not obey this order range from RSD 800,000 to RSD 1 million.
Ljajic said that in such extreme conditions, when the daily temperature exceeds 40 degrees, employers are required to apply all preventive organisational, technical, medicine and other measures of occupational safety, including the re-scheduling of working hours.
Minister Ljajic said that in the upcoming days inspection services will enhance control in Belgrade and other towns in Serbia.
