Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Academician Bela Balint met today with representatives of the China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC), who are on a multi-day visit to Serbia.

Balint pointed out that the priorities of both sides are the same and relate to the development of information technologies, artificial intelligence, high-tech security and digitalisation.
The officials highlighted that the China Electronics Technology Group Corporation can, through cooperation with state and private actors in Serbia, contribute to the implementation of the “Serbia 2030” plan, as it operates in areas identified in the plan as key priorities.
The Chinese corporation has been operating since 2002, and its activities include the production of communication equipment, computers, electronic equipment, software development and other related activities.
