The meeting was also attended by state secretaries of the Ministry - for regional development Verica Kalanovic, and for tourism Goran Petkovic. Dinkic made this proposal with the aim of creating a better coordination of local self-governments, the Ministry and the Serbian government.
He said that the greatest attention will be dedicated to development of small and medium-sized enterprises, employment and tourism.
Minister without Portfolio for the National Investment Plan (NIP) Dragan Djilas and Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Slobodan Milosavljevic were also on the visit to Veliko Gradiste.
Djilas called on representatives of municipalities to join forces and take part together in the preparation of projects for the next year and to apply together for obtaining funds from the NIP, with the aim of increasing employment. He said that the deadline for submitting projects is October 1.
The minister today visited at Srebrno Jezero lake a tourist and recreational complex Pinkum which will be equipped by congressional, recreational and sporting facilities in line with the highest world standards.
Dinkic said that RSD 60 million were set aside for the project of cleaning Srebrno Jezero in the first half of the year and the cleaning should begin within the next 20 days.
The ministers and state secretaries also visited a newly built water tower whose construction was financed from the NIP as part of the project of construction of the water system and secondary sewage network in the field of local communal infrastructure.
