A ceremony was held in the House of Parliament today to mark the completion of the training of officers of the 50th class of the national school of defence, whose entire education and training programme was conducted according to NATO procedures in areas of air defence, peace operations and help to civilian population.

Serbian Minister of Defence Dragan Sutanovac and Serbian President Boris Tadic presented diplomas and sabres to the officers, which are awarded in recognition of the highest form of education in the Serbian army.
The officers attended specialised training which lasted ten months, during which they were trained for the most important positions in the defence system.
The ceremony was also attended by Chief of Serbian Army General Staff Zdarvko Ponos and Serbian Minister of Religion Radomir Naumov, as well as representatives of religious communities in Serbia including Mufti Jusufspahic and President of the Federation of Jewish Communities in Serbia Aleksandar Necak.
