According to the statement, 93.2% of the budget consisted of monetary funds, and 6.8% of the income was in goods.
Salary for regular jobs had the largest share in monetary income worth 44.2% while 25.1% consisted of pensions.
Personal expenditures in households in Serbia were worth RSD 35,857, of which the largest part was spent on food and non-alcoholic beverages, making up 39.5%.
On the Republic level 44.2% of monetary funds in household budgets in the fourth quarter of 2006 consisted of income from regular jobs, in central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) 37.2%, Vojvodina 44.3% and the City of Belgrade 54.4%.
Pensions, (retirement funds, family, invalid and other) on the level of the Republic made up 25.1% of the household budget, in central Serbia (without City of Belgrade) 24.7%, Vojvodina 23.6% and the City of Belgrade 27%.
Consumer and investment loans on the Republic level were 3.2%, while other income (savings, insurance compensations and similar) were worth 6%.
Expenditure on goods was 6.7% on the national level, in central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) 10.7%, Vojvodina 4.8% and the City of Belgrade 2.5%.
Average monthly personal expenses per household on the Republic level was worth RSD 35,857, in central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) RSD 32.794, Vojvodina RSD 35,137 and the City of Belgrade RSD 43,419.
The share of central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) in the structure of per household expenditure on food and non-alcoholic beverages of total expenditure was worth 21%, in Vojvodina 36.3% and the City of Belgrade 38.3%.
The share of households in expenditure on housing, water, electricity gas and other fuels in Vojvodina was worth 17.6%, in central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) 18.1% and the City of Belgrade 13.1%.
Monthly expenditure on health services in central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) per household was RSD 1.161, in the City of Belgrade RSD 2.041.
Average monthly expenditure per household on communication in central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) was RSD 975, in Vojvodina RSD 1,091 and in the City of Belgrade RSD 1,316.
On the level of the Republic, households monthly spend on average on transportation 10.8% of income, on clothes and footwear 6.1%, on household maintenance 4.5%, on recreation and cultural activities 4.8%.
These statistics were obtained through surveys on household expenditure, which have been implemented since 2003 according to the international standards of EUROSTAT, ILO and the UN.
