First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Siniša Mali attended today the initialing of the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement with the Federal Republic of Germany, which is important for all those who have a business relationship with that country.

Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement with Germany signed

The agreement was initialed by Assistant Minister of Finance Dragan Demirović and Head of the Delegation of the Ministry of Finance of the Federal Republic of Germany Dagmar Kreissmann. The event was attended by Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Serbia Anke Konrad.
Serbia currently has double taxation avoidance agreements signed with 64 countries.
Germany is Serbia’s first partner in the exchange of goods and the fifth largest foreign investor in Serbia.
There are currently 1,014 companies and 100 entrepreneurs established by German citizens in Serbia, and around 800 have majority German ownership. These companies employ more than 80,000 workers, according to a statement from the Ministry of Finance.
