Awards for best media report on European integration granted

The Serbian government’s EU Integration Office awarded five best media reports on the process of Serbia’s European integration broadcast in the period from January 1 to November 1 this year.
The awards were granted to Ana Veljkovic from B92, Vladeta Dunda from RTV Krusevac, Dragan Stanojevic from RTS, Zvonko Ninkov from production network Mreza and editor of European Forum monthly Aleksandra Mijalkovic.
The awarded journalists will travel to Brussels from December 16 to 20, where they will have the opportunity to meet with European Commission officials in charge of integration and information as well as with their Belgian colleagues and foreign press from Brussels.
The awards for reports in daily papers and radio were not granted as none of the reports in dailies satisfied criteria of the competition while no radio station contested.
The jury comprised Srdjan Saletovic from the European Agency for Reconstruction (EAR), Ivana Djuric and Natasa Savic from the EU Integration Office and journalist Dusan Gajic.
The contest was financially backed by EAR. The awards will be officially delivered in an annual meeting of the EU Integration office with media representatives on December 14 at 10 am at Aero Club, 4 Uzun Mirkova Street.
