Sabo said that the Backi Petrovac municipality will invest these funds into reconstruction of the Cultural Centre, which holds premises of the local community, the Stefan Homola library and the Zuske Medvedove gallery. Loncar said that by the end of the year another distribution of funds to local self-governments will be made and added that it is possible that a part of these funds will go to Backi Petrovac again, since this municipality applied for funds with a number of quality projects.
Backi Petrovac is mostly populated by Slovaks and has one more Culture Centre, which is a home to the Slovak Vojvodina Theatre.
