Serbian Minister of Justice Zoran Stojkovic said today during a visit to the District Court in Sabac that nearly all courts in Serbia have been renovated and equipped with computers and other necessary equipment.
Stojkovic said that the Ministry of Justice has provided RSD 9.9 million for the renovation of this court, purchase of office and computer equipment, and together with the Sabac municipality it co-financed works on part of the building's façade.
The Minister of Justice said that in addition to funds set aside from the budget and donations, an additional €10 million has been used for the equipping of courts in Serbia and added that facades of buildings were improved with the help of local self-governments.
He added that €30 million has been set aside for judiciary from the National Investment Plan and voiced hope that within a short time all courts in Serbia will be appropriately equipped.
