Following the signing Lalovic said that around RSD 7 million has been secured for nine projects in five municipalities which will include 123 unemployed persons registered with the National Employment Service. These people will be engaged in the clear-up of wild dumps, various data archiving, canal clean-up and similar works.
The Minister said that under-qualified workers will be guaranteed minimum salary, whereas qualified ones will receive larger salaries in line with their education level.
According to Lalovic, there are 111 similar projects in Serbia which will help employ 3,500 people adding that the government's intention is to increase this number tenfold next year.
Municipalities that have applied for this project are Novi Sad, Backa Palanka, Srbobran, Becej and Sremski Karlovci.
