Serbian Assistant Minister of Trade, Tourism and Services Srdjan Sreckovic said today that by November 22 fuel at all petrol pumps in Serbia should be cheaper on average by 90 paras per litre, which is a decrease of 1.3%.
Sreckovic said in a statement to the news agency Beta that new prices of oil derivatives will be lower by 1.4% than they were at the end of last year.
He stressed that the price decrease announced will reduce inflation to 0.12%, so that the rate of inflation will stand between 7% and 7.5% at the end of the year.
Sreckovic said that this is a significant success of the macroeconomic policy which was conducted and recalled that the growth of oil derivatives prices had a 5% share in the 17.7% inflation rate in the previous year.
