Following the signing, Dinkic explained that the Protocol on Cooperation for the period 2007 -2010, envisages allocation of sums in the minimum value of RSD 30 million for the music festival as a regular article in the budget.
He stressed that the state must help creative activities and the arrangement of such a festival as Exit, because this festival has done more to promote Serbia than the diplomats whose job it was.
Boskovic said that the Protocol is the result of cooperation with the Ministry of Finance, which in the previous three years supported the festival in various ways, and recalled that at the initiative of Exit the Ministry reduced VAT on the sale of concert tickets from 18% to 8%.
He explained that organisation of the festival costs from €3.5 million to €4 million, and added that this sum would be even larger if all costs for organisation were paid according to the European level.
Musician Rambo Amadeus said that Exit will become the music fair to connect Eastern Europe with Western Europe, and added that it is possible that Exit will arrange similar smaller events throughout Serbia.
He expressed gratitude to Minister Dinkic, who due to his successful efforts, managed to secure funds for investing in successful projects such as the Exit festival.
