Computers awarded to best schools at environment competition

State Secretary at the Serbian Ministry of Education and Sport Vekislav Janjicijevic attended today the delivery of computers to the schools that won the competition "June 5 - the World Environment Day", held at the Air-technical school.
Representatives of the ten schools that won at the competition were given four computers each and one server and lap-top each, provided by Veselin and Daniel Cesarov from Bern, who have been donating equipment to Serbian schools for years.
In 2002, Veselin and Daniel Cesarov launched a campaign "999 computers for Serbian schools", when a large number of schools in rural areas were equipped with computers. After being shown heartfelt gratitude by pupils and teachers, they decided to continue with campaigns that will be connected to some certain idea.
Daniel Cesarov explained that Serbian schools will be given a total of 106 computers, 40 servers and 26 lap-tops for projects related to environmental campaigns, decoration of public spaces and schoolyards and organisation of ecological patrols.
The new campaign will be held under the theme "Flowers - the symbol of aesthetics and beauty."
