Đurić informed his interlocutor about the intensive preparations for Specialised Expo 2027, expressing his hope that the OAS will join the numerous international organizations that have already confirmed their participation.
Đurić said that he is striving to improve cooperation with the member states of this forum, building bridges of cooperation in this part of the world as well.
Wrapping up his visit to Panama, where he participated in the 56th OAS General Assembly and the 31st meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Association of Caribbean States, the Minister stated that Serbia continues to strengthen its global network of partnerships in order to protect its national interests, preserve territorial integrity and sovereignty and improve economic cooperation.
Summarising the results of the visit, he stated that the previous days had been filled with numerous bilateral meetings and activities aimed at strengthening Serbia's international position.
Đurić stated that Serbia and Panama have signed an agreement that allows citizens of the two countries to travel without a visa, which further contributes to strengthening the value and international reputation of the Serbian passport, adding that an Agreement on Cooperation between Diplomatic Academies has also been signed.
The head of Serbian diplomacy emphasised that Serbia continues to build partnerships with countries that respect international law, advocate for the peaceful resolution of disputes and are open to pragmatic cooperation, including participation in Specialised Expo 2027 in Belgrade.
He also announced the continuation of diplomatic activities in Brazil, noting that this will be the first visit by a Serbian foreign minister to that country in more than 15 years.
