Macut was welcomed at Yerevan Airport by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan.
The summit, which brings together European leaders to discuss key issues of regional security, connectivity and cooperation, will be held on 4 May themed on “Building the Future: Unity and Stability in Europe”.
Upon his arrival in Yerevan, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of Serbia’s participation in the Eighth Summit of the European Political Community, where key issues in Europe and the world will be discussed.
He said that dialogue is key to mutual understanding between states, but also within the countries themselves.
Serbia is certainly a member of the European Community of Nations and we have come to exchange experiences on mutual relations, security in Europe, cybersecurity, but also on reducing crime rates in general, he said.
Tonight, Macut will also attend a gala dinner organised on the eve of the summit by Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturian and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
