Macut stated that, following the reconstruction worth €40 million, the Stefan Visoki General Hospital, as a strategically important healthcare centre, will be fully modernised.
The Prime Minister told young doctors that they should come to Smederevska Palanka, as the state is investing not only in facilities but also in their future, emphasising that working conditions in this hospital will be on a par with those in the most developed European clinics.
Addressing participants in the e-Sick Leave – Employer training, he pointed out that nearly 44,000 employers have already registered and are using this software solution, including 4,000 from the public sector and as many as 40,000 from the private sector.
At present, the e-Sick Leave system is used by nearly 6,000 selected doctors across all 156 healthcare institutions employing selected doctors, Macut said.
The Prime Minister added that the eGovernment Caravan is not merely a plan on paper, but a project that brings tangible changes to citizens’ everyday lives and to business operations, noting that Smederevska Palanka is the fifth city to host training for the use of the e-Sick Leave – Employer system.
The Prime Minister also visited the There Is a Way Out peer violence immersive tunnel of the Centre for Missing and Exploited Children, where he stated that the Government of Serbia will always respond, provide strong support and offer maximum assistance to every project of this kind.
As he emphasised, prevention entails concrete work in the field that changes awareness, bearing in mind that peer violence is increasingly occurring in the digital space as well.
