Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, attended today a reception to mark the Day of Republika Srpska – 9 January and 34 years since the proclamation of the first Constitution of Republika Srpska.
The Assembly of the Serbian People of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the Constitution on 28 February 1992, which was unanimously adopted on the basis of the Declaration of Establishment and which guaranteed full equality of the peoples and citizens of Republika Srpska.
The ceremony was attended by envoy of the President of the Republic Aleksandar Vučić and advisor to the President Miloš Vučević, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarović and Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starović.
Also present were Minister without portfolio in charge of gender equality, prevention of violence against women and economic and political empowerment of women Tatjana Macura, Minister of Sport Zoran Gajić, Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Academician Bela Balint, Minister of Human and Minority Rights Demo Beriša and President of the Constitutional Court Vladan Petrov.
The reception was also attended by Speaker of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska Nenad Stevandić, Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić, Minister of Education and Culture of Republika Srpska Borivoje Golubović, and President of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats Milorad Dodik.
