Mesarović addressed the session held at the Palace of Serbia noting that it is expected that everyone will receive electricity by the end of the day or possibly tomorrow, noting that the situation has stabilised compared to the problems that existed in previous days.
The Deputy Prime Minister added that she is talking, first of all, about the citizens of Priboj, but also about the citizens of Ivanjica, Kraljevo and Lučani, where some consumers currently do not have electricity.
Our teams are on the ground and will work diligently throughout the day to ensure proper power supply, Mesarović emphasised.
Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Aleksandra Sofronijević stated that during the snowstorm in Serbia in recent days, there were only two interruptions to rail traffic.
Sofronijević also announced that as of this morning, all state roads in Serbia are passable and safe for traffic.
According to her, the public enterprise Putevi Srbije, together with 24 companies, with 175 points, 815 machines, 338 other vehicles and 2,329 employees, is in the fourth level of readiness day and night, which implies 100% engagement of both mechanisation and people.
Sofronijević emphasised that all intercity and interstate buses are operating without major problems and that there were only minor delays in arrivals.
The Minister stated that navigation on large rivers, such as the Danube, Sava and the Danube-Tisa-Danube canal, is difficult due to low water levels, which is not typical for this time of year, noting that the navigation ban applies only to the Danube-Tisa-Danube canal system.
The Minister also stated that ice formation has been observed approximately 50 km from the border with Serbia from Hungary, somewhere around Mohács, but that according to the morning report from the port authorities, there is no ice on that part of the Danube, so there is no immediate danger for now.
