The Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, in cooperation with the Embassy of Israel, has organised MASHAV training sessions within the framework of this programme, which are intended for representatives of science and technology parks, as well as affiliated regional innovation start-up centres.
The goal of these full-day workshops is to increase the capacity of operational staff at science and technology parks and start-up centres.
Balint noted that Israel, with more than 6,000 active start-ups and an ecosystem worth $253 billion, is a global leader in technological innovation – from cybersecurity to artificial intelligence.
The Minister emphasised that the intention is for science and technology parks in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Čačak, Niš and, soon, under locations under development, to become drivers of economic growth and innovation.
Israeli Ambassador to Serbia Avivit Bar-Ilan welcomed the launch of the programme, which aims to produce a lasting impact through the exchange of knowledge and expertise.
