Bubalo explained that the capacity of this plant is 10,000 bottles per hour and noted the water is rich in Calcium, Magnesium, sulfates, Natrium, Kalium and chlorides and is good for health, especially for those suffering hypertension and heart disorders.
The plant spans some 2,500 square metres, he said and added that its construction was supported by public company 2. Oktobar from Vrsac and Ljubljanska Banka from Trieste, which provided loans for this project.
According to Bubalo, this investment is very important for Vrsac municipality and can serve as a model of economic prosperity in Serbia. The Serbian government realised that investing in infrastructure is most important, and particularly in science parks, Bubalo said.
General manager of public road company Putevi Srbije Branko Jocic said that the Serbian Road Directorate invested 70 million dinars in the Mesic-Vrsac road and recalled that €350 million dinars was set aside for the local road network in the southern Banat region this year.
Director of public company 2. Oktobar Ljubisav Sljivic said that the first factory of mineral water in Banat already started preliminary negotiations on two export jobs and announced that the water from this plant will appear on the market in August.
Apart from Bubalo, the opening ceremony was also attended by Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Zoran Loncar.
