Vučić presented the conclusions of the Council, which assess that the decisions of the courts of Bosnia and Herzegovina are undemocratic, anti-civilisational, unlawful, contrary to basic democratic principles and principles, and that they represent a blow to the Serbian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Also, as he added, the National Security Council believes that acts such as the decision of the Court of BiH to confirm the verdict against Dodik violate the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska established by the Dayton Peace Agreement and threaten stability, trust in institutions and the democratic character of internal political relations.
The conclusions also state that Serbia, as a signatory to the guarantees of the Dayton Agreement, will continue to insist on its full respect and will reject any practice of imposing decisions outside international law.
The Republic of Serbia will consistently be guided by the following principles in its actions: it will oppose the unitarisation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it will advocate for the preservation of the territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with full respect for the jurisdiction and territorial integrity of Republika Srpska, it will oppose any imposed reorganisation of the internal structure of BiH, including repressive measures against democratically elected representatives, the conclusions state.
Also, the conclusion of the National Security Council is that Serbia will stand by Republika Srpska, international law and justice.
We will remain equally consistent in our commitment to preserving stability as a necessary prerequisite for economic and overall social progress, Vučić presented the conclusions of the Council, adding that the stability of the region is a vital national interest of Serbia and that we believe that the future of the region lies in cooperation.
