Parivodic noted that during the five months of this year, Serbia exported goods worth $86 million to Croatia, whereas Croatian export to Serbia in the same period amounted to $126 million. Last year, Croatia imported $200 million worth of products from Serbia while Serbia imported goods worth $260 million, said Parivodic.
He stressed that as far as investment is concerned, there is an imbalance as Croatian companies invested nearly $100 million in Serbia while Serbian companies have not invested in Croatia so far.
Parivodic said that Belgrade-Zagreb air line should be introduced soon as there is great potential for further economic cooperation. The Minister also called for the visa regime to be abolished and added that Serbia and Croatia openly and consistently support one another in their European perspectives.
Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica and Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader opened today the Batrovci-Bajakovo border crossing, in the presence of Minister Parivodic and Serbian Minister of Capital Investment Velimir Ilic.
