The Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Services Bojan Dimitrijevic said that the automobiles were purchased for the needs of the Serbian bureaus of market and tourist inspection and added that this purchase refreshed one-fourth of the bureaus’ car pool.
According to him, this symbolic campaign is an injection to Zastava, and to its development and restructuring.
Dimitrijevic invited other Serbian government agencies and Serbian enterprises to buy Zastava automobiles as well, adding that they will not find such quality and a new automobile for 300,000 dinars anywhere.
According to Zastava general director Zoran Radojevic, other ministries should follow this example, because the vehicles that this factory produces can meet about 90 percent of the needs of certain inspections and state services, as well as communal services.
