Predrag Bubalo
Bubalo expressed satisfaction that this festival is once again being held in Belgrade, after 13 years, and added that the arrival of foreign companies is an indication that Serbia and Serbia’s economy are improving.
The Minister of Economy reiterated that the Serbian government’s aim is to open the doors to the European Union and added that, as indicated by this event, market players are one step ahead of the Serbian government and its policies.
Numerous seminars will be held during the festival, with the bulk of them consisting of expert analysis of the latest marketing trends from various foreign perspectives. The festival will last until September 10 and 36 of the largest domestic marketing agencies will participate.
The festival is also holding a competition among agencies entering their work from 2003 and 2004, with 260 entries vying for awards in 105 market categories. In addition to that, an exhibition entitled “The Serbian creative village” will showcase the creative abilities of agencies at work in the country.
The festival is being organised by a group of marketing agencies that have been assembling this project for about a year within the Serbian Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The main sponsor of this event is the Serbian Ministry of Economy.
