Minister Lalovic presented in Kragujevac the National Employment Strategy from 2005 to 2010, which the government adopted last Thursday and underlined that the government has set aside considerable funds for the most socially endangered citizens of Kragujevac and Kursumlija. He also announced that with the rebalancing of the budget in June, additional funds will be approved.
He explained that the first group of citizens to receive aid from the government are the former workers of Zastava, Filip Kljajic and other companies, regardless of whether they are registered at the Employment Bureau or not.
Lalovic said that the government is doing everything to improve the situation in Kragujevac after 15 years of deterioration of the town’s industry, and announced that the government has envisaged the implementation of an aid plan through the Employment Bureau as well as more education by the end of the year.
The National Employment Strategy defines the priorities of permanently resolving the problem of unemployment, above all by offering help in finding jobs and preventing long-term unemployment, as well as through supporting entrepreneurship and improving the business climate.
