Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Radomir Naumov and Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Policy Slobodan Lalovic talked today with representatives of the EPS trade union to discuss the social programme in this public company as well as wage policy and the company’s reorganisation.
The two ministers pointed out that the Serbian government is committed to resolving all open issues through an open and peaceful dialogue.
At the same time, they underlined the necessity of the company’s restructuring process, which is a basic precondition for preserving the electric power system as a resource in the national economy.
The date of negotiations between the Serbian government and EPS trade union should be set during the week.
