Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Miroljub Labus and members of the delegation of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), led by Prime Minister Ahmet Hadzipasic, agreed at today's meeting that the cooperation between the two countries should be more varied, especially in joint presentations to tertiary markets.
The participants in the meeting agreed that the development of overall bilateral relations of the two countries helps strengthen the stability in the region and create conditions for quicker integration into European structures, which is the common goal of both Serbia and BiH.
Labus raised the issue of implementation of parts of the Free Trade Agreement which BiH suspended, stressing that such a decision has a negative impact to normal functioning of overall bilateral trade.
He voiced hope that this problem will be solved already at the next session of the mixed commission for monitoring the implementation of the Free Trade Agreement, which should take place within the next six months.
Hadzipasic agreed that it is necessary to remove all obstacles to successful economic cooperation.
He added that there is enough space for the expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of metals processing, chemical industry and energy sector.
The meeting was also attended by Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Services Bojan Dimitrijevic, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Ivana Dulic-Markovic, Minister of Economy Predrag Bubalo, Minister of Culture Dragan Kojadinovic and President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce Slobodan Milosavljevic.
Apart from the Prime Minister and five federal ministers, the BiH delegation included representatives of the BiH Chamber of Commerce.
